Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards

Skills

• Proven UI experience
• Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio
• Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, OmniGraffle, or other visual design and wire-framing tools
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
• Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
• Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
• BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or related
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

• Deliver cutting edge, intuitive UI designs, from concept through to launch
• Define and develop current GUI style guides, standards and design practices, as well as remain knowledgeable about emerging GUI standards and trends
• Maintain design consistency via the use of style guides, style sheets and enforcement of established standards and best practices
• Work with UX lead to establish best practices for following GUI standards design and testing in conjunction with stakeholders
• Develop screen mock-ups to aid in soliciting feedback from user Focus Groups

• At least 1 years of experience in user interface research
• Skilled with a variety of web and mobile technologies including HTML5, CSS, LESS, Saas, JavaScript, DoJo, Flash/FLEX.
• Expert with Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver.
• Experience in Bootstrap or ZURB foundation framework.
• Excellent graphic design skills as well as interaction design skills
• User-centered Design methodology experience a plus
• An online portfolio that demonstrates a range of work, ideally including e-commerce and mobile UI projects
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present to all levels within an organization
