Job Description

To understand the user requirements and translate them into usability tasks with attached metrics, create screeners for tests and moderate the tests. The role also involves making detailed usability reports for both UI improvement and regulatory purposes To lead usability function within the Performance Bridge project team and be hands-on in usability-related activities like defining tasks, moderating tests and publishing reports The position is for Usability Engineer for Performance Bridge program As the UI is largely being built in Bangalore, it is critical that a UE is added to the team to help rapidly evaluate design options and deliver the product The position has a full year budget coverage and has growth potential of reaching director level There is a revenue risk for Design and business in the absence of this role as this role has a direct impact on user experience.

Skills

• T-shaped person; however more visual than UX
• Knowledge of visual design software (e.g. Sketch, XD, InDesign)
• Experience in mobile app design
• Familiar with prototyping and prototyping programs (e.g. Axure, Flinto)
• Preference for someone with technical support or coding experience
• Flexible personality; ability to easily switch between toolkit and coco work
• Has proven to have a feeling for detail and can work accurate and according to guidelines

Job Description

Guiding the development of design ideas and the team of designers in a project from basic user experience concept to fully worked out design solutions. The position entails liaising with product and marketing management on one side and development teams on the other side. The position calls for a senior designer to facilitate, guide and lead the product program. Lead analysis to form a relevant understanding of context (domain, business, market, emerging contexts, related trends, target groups, etc.) and define and articulate relevant insights. Manage the process of creating surprising and relevant scenarios/ themes/ concepts along with stakeholder teams. Create effective and appropriate visual languages by understanding the meaning and effect of these on the brand, audience, market and culture. Develop and use and direct the (project) team with clarity and accuracy in applying and defining (general) interface and interaction principles and general usability principles. Challenges technology, constraints and trends. Understand development tools and methods opportunities, constraints, trends. Create information architectures and application flows (flowcharts). Build relationships and appropriately influence relevant internal & external stakeholders Manage project budgets and also develop stakeholder relationships and build networks to achieve short- and long-term goals
