Job Description

We are currently seeking a Web/UI/UX Designer to join our Internet team. We are a Dynamic, fast growing team seeking an experienced Web/UI/UX Designer for desktop, mobile. This candidate will work with Management, Marketing, Web Tech Teams/IT, while collaborating with other members on the team. This individual will be an excellent graphic designer and has a thorough understanding of user experience. They will have proven professional hands-on development experience in integrating business and technical requirements into design strategies. In addition, this person will plan, design, develop, and must be able to work independently. This individual should also have the ability and experience in balancing marketing input, aesthetics, and technical concerns while focusing on converting visitors to buyers.

Skills

Candidates must have the ability to produce wireframes, user flows, interaction specs, front-end development and quality assurance. Candidates should also have a thorough understanding branding and ability to grasp new concepts quickly.

• Plan, design, develop and implement desktop and mobile sites – includes producing wireframes, user flows, site graphic design development, interaction specs and QA/testing
• Design desktop and mobile (handheld and tablet) sites for marketing needs
• Participate in meetings to receive directions and brainstorm in order to conceptualize for website improvement projects, for website rewrites or new websites
• Design wireframes to support website concepts and map out user interaction/experience flows
• Mock up approved wireframes to demonstrate design concepts
• Work with other designers on the team to help support larger scaled projects. Ability to work independently on some projects
• Support the Advertising channel with e-mail promotions, banner advertising and other campaigns for both our new client acquisition and housefile marketing
• Design and Maintain existing sites and manage all images for all sites (home page weekly promotions, product page promotions, landing pages, seasonal promotions, custom image designs, product image processing, etc.)
• Assist in web site development, which includes wireframing, site specs development, front-end development, quality assurance, bug fixes, and deployment under the direction of the lead designer
