Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Visual and Interaction Designers to refine MakeMyTrip’s core offerings and simplify travel for our users. You will be at the forefront of our efforts and be directly responsible for decisions that shape our products. We are looking for someone who: Understands that design makes everything possible, and can distinguish 'great' design from 'pretty' design Enjoys learning how to solve the hard problems and isn’t scared of complexities Is comfortable in a native design environment (Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, etc.) Can thrive in a variable and demanding environment with short feedback loops Responsibilities: Design simple, easy to use experiences for one or more of MakeMyTrip’s core offerings across mobile and desktop Engage with stakeholders and intelligently integrate findings into designs as needed Explore multiple visual directions and create concepts Understand the technical limitations and communicate ideas effectively to product and engineering teams Translate wireframes and flows into visually stunning interfaces Create pixel perfect assets, precise guidelines and easy-to-navigate documents Provide necessary support to product and engineering teams to help ship features and products

Skills

• Strong verbal, written and visual presentation skills with a deep understanding of the value in storytelling
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design (e.g. interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), HCI, CS, or a related field
• Strong command of various apps and techniques related to visual and interface design
• Must be self-motivated to effectively manage multiple projects and consistently meet critical deadlines

Bonus points:

• Experience in building web, native or mobile apps
