Job Description

Partner with Digital Technology Leaders , Functional Leaders and Users to design products that create business value for customers and GE, while meeting user needs. Effectively communicate user-informed design via clickable prototypes, annotated wireframes, and process maps. Lead low-fidelity prototyping sessions (e.g. white boarding, paper prototyping) to experiment with multiple potential approaches to a problem. Leverage research methods such as contextual inquiry, heuristic evaluation, and card sorting to learn about users, stakeholders, and existing systems. Synthesize output of user and stakeholder research to create documentation (e.g. storyboards, journey maps, reports) that effectively summarizes key user insights and recommendations. Facilitate or contribute as a designer in design thinking activities such as design sprints to define problems and iterate possible solutions.

Skills

• Highly proficient in standard design, wireframing, or prototyping tools (e.g. Sketch, Invision, Figma, Adobe XD).
• Highly proficient at generative techniques (e.g. sketching, brainstorming) to establish a variety of possible design decisions and decision scenarios.
• Knows how to create and leverage design patterns and when to consciously deviate from them to produce usable designs and inform new design systems.
• Expert in specific areas of UX, with a continued desire to go both deeper and broader.

Job Description

As a Sr UX Visual Designer, you will lead visual design of next generation visualization applications for Clinical Care Solutions. You will be expected partner with our other in house UX experts to create one cohesive next-gen digital UX strategy and visual standard across all CCS digital customer experience platforms.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with senior leadership with confidence and clarity
• Ability to multitask across small, medium and large projects in a cross-functional environment.
• Experience in leading visual design for web or mobile based digital solutions
• Experience in healthcare domain
• Demonstrates a strong understanding of Agile / Lean UX methodologies
• Experience in Healthcare Design System or GE Industrial Internet Design System
