In this role, you will help create useful and desirable web and mobile applications for the industrial internet of things. As a Senior UX Visual Designer, you may be an individual contributor to multiple user experience engagements as well as work on highly complex projects that require in-depth knowledge across multiple specialized business domains. Skills

• Develops visual language studies that explore multiple approaches to the overall aesthetic of a product, with regard to brand and experience values and underlying product capability and behavior.
• Creates visual design specifications and documentation that provide detailed instructions for developers regarding typography, spacing, color and other aspects of a product’s user interface.
• Creates multiple variations to a single design component to explore how different treatments meet design requirements and brand/experience goals.
• Explains and defends design decisions to other members of the project team including developers, product managers, marketers and other designers.
• Skilled in standard design tools (Adobe CC, OmniGraffle, Sketch), hand drawing and visual communication, familiar with time-based and interactive prototyping tools (Hype, Adobe Edge, Keynote).
• Understands the implications of digital display and software technologies and for visual interface design.

Job Description

Lead coding, testing, documentation, implementation, and maintenance of information technology solutions for business processes Work with other front end developers to define best practices and processes around user interface development Collaborate with US, near-shore, and offshore based team members to deliver software solutions Implement detailed functional and technical specifications required to satisfy business requirements Provide functional and technical documentation Develop proof-of-concepts and prototypes of easy to navigate user interfaces (UI) that consist of web pages with graphics, icons, and color schemes that are visually appealing

Skills

• Demonstrated experience (7.5 +yrs) in developing using front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, database tools (JPA, Hibernate, JDBC, Spring Data); rules engines (Camel, Drools, JRules) & modern tooling (Gradle, Maven, Git, SVN)
• 4+ years experience with JavaScript
• 3+ years experience with CSS3
• 4+ years experience with HTML5
• 2+ years experience with AngularJS
• 1-2 years experience with NOSQL database
• Experience with Cordova
• Understanding of backend systems and how to integrate with online services
• 1-2 Years experience writing unit tests
• Experience using a CI system to automate builds.
