We want a Project Manager/Scrum Master at Design For Use (Gurgaon) Do you project? Are you problem solver, a hurdle remover? If you answered an emphatic “yes” to these questions, we would love to talk to you. Design For Use is a user experience consulting firm with offices in Gurgaon, Austin and Sydney. We are looking for a talented Project Manager and a Scrum Master who is passionate about teamwork and communication and want to help craft great designs and deliver them on time.You don’t need to be a designer, but you should be attuned to the concerns that matter to their work. You are expected to orchestrate and customize a project timeline and sprints that maintains a positive balance between maintaining creative integrity and shipping on time.

Skills

30 days: You will understand our UX design business and current processes to complete a project. You will shadow current project manager/lead designer to get the ringside view of different constraints and challenges on different project types. You should be able discern which project management methodology works best for what kind of project – waterfall to agile scrum.

 3 months: You will co-manage 1-2 projects with a principal or a lead designer. Ideally one of the project will be scrum-based another more linear waterfall oriented. You will also participate in the creative process as part of the design team, providing input and ensuring engaging and quality deliverables.

 6 months: You will take charge of the project management practice at the firm. You will actively manage 2-3 projects, while passively helping other project managers or lead designers ensure smooth progress of their respective deliverables. Essentially, you will be responsible for the end-to- end project management from the creative brief through to the delivery of final assets, ensuring projects are appropriately resourced, aligned with brief, and on schedule.

 1 year: You will review and update the project management processes. You should help transition the entire project management into a more agile scrum methodology approach. Ideally, there will be several variants of the scrum process suitable for each project type. You will be required to attend meetups and workshops to continually learn the latest in the project management practice.

 2 years: You will build a team of at least 4-5 scrum masters by taking certification courses and other workshops, or internally training some designers to take on this role.
