Job Description

Helping to define and drive the vision & identity for the Jewellery buying experience across all BlueStone platforms (Desktop and Mobile web, Android and IOS Apps) Going deep on consumer insights, product analytics, and competitive intelligence to drive product innovation and iteration. Lead brainstorming sessions and design reviews. Lead or participate in quick and iterative user research for ideation and concept refinement. Create and rapidly iterate on ideas to develop them, via storyboards, user flows, mock-ups, and prototypes, or other methods as needed. Evangelize prototyped concepts to a diverse audience, in both ad-hoc and formal presentations. Stay on the cutting edge of what’s new in technology and user experience, identifying opportunities to and experimenting with applying new technologies and interaction patterns to customer problems. Inspiring, leading and developing a team of UX and Visual designers.

Skills

• 8-10 years of experience in UX design, with at least 3-4 years designing consumer experiences (web, mobile, device, software, or other media) preferably in ecommerce domain.
• A deep understanding of Ecommerce business and Indian Ecommerce consumer is a must.
• Experience designing for a variety of device types (web, mobile, PC, etc.) and designing experiences with multiple interaction modalities.
• Expert knowledge of user experience design planning processes, information architecture and user research.
• Proficiency with design tools (Sketch, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Axure, Fireworks, Omnigraffle, Hype, etc).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or related field or equivalent professional experience.
• A strong portfolio of innovative design work that demonstrates proficiency in interaction and visual design.
• Strong bias for action and "get it done" attitude
