Work closely with Senior designers, Product managers and Developers to solve complex issues. Manage products/features you own across all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to development team and ensure pixel perfect delivery. Adhere to brand guidelines to create designs that reinforce Bluejeans style and voice through its visual touch-points. Create and organize production assets in the design system. Up-to-date with the latest standards, changes, trends in visual design field. Collaborate in brainstorming and ideation through sketches/storyboarding/mocks. Consume user research and incorporate key business and user insights in the experience.

Skills

• 2+ years of experience working as a UI designer/Visual designer. Graduate/post graduate degree in design or equivalent field.
• Solid understanding of UI design fundamentals in the areas of color, typography, balance and rhythm.
• Ability to translate stakeholders' vision into stunning visual experiences.
• Hands-on experience creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, user flows, etc.
• Proficiency in sketch, photoshop, illustrator, or other visual design and wire-framing tools.
• Be open to objective criticism and improving upon it.
• Experience working in an agile/scrum development process.

Job Description

Work with design leadership and drive product development through design sprints, leading projects and mentoring other designers. Develop and present user research insights, journey-maps, task flows, user flows to communicate big picture thinking and broad concepts into beautiful and functional mockups and prototypes. Demonstrates, articulates and teaches an understanding of layout, typography and visual hierarchy, as it pertains to BlueJeans design language and products. Solve problems by following a data-driven strategy, where you base your decisions on facts rather than opinions. You will generate design hypotheses backed by data from in-page analytics, behaviors flows, engagement metrics and qualitative feedback from customers. Possesses strong writing skills. Creates detailed specs of final designs that allow devs to build accurately. Provides regular, direct and impactful feedback in Group Crits and the larger Product Design Crit, and engages individual designers across the Product Design team to help them grow their skills and design toolkit.

Skills

• Minimum BA/BS degree in Human Computer Interaction & Visual Communication or equivalent practical experience in UX, Product and/or Service Design.
• Seasoned Product / UX professional.
• Solid understanding of enterprise cloud-based software.
• Proficiency in any design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Principle, InVision, etc…
• Expert knowledge of user-centered design principles.
• Able to self-manage overlapping projects.
• A self-starter with excellent communication and collaboration skills
