Job Description

Create user experience goals, priorities, and design artefacts that align with the product vision. Coordinate multiple projects to completion, and drive adoption of user experience practices. Proactively engage and strongly influence decisions with multiple project stakeholders including business, product managers, engineers, and other designers, in drafting & brainstorming initial concepts. Convey design ideas and end-to-end user experience via sketches, storyboards, hi-fidelity mockups, prototypes, or animations. Create designs that drive business impact, meet product objectives, fit within Adobe Design guidelines, and respond to user feedback and usability testing findings. Plan and conduct primary and/or secondary research, as well as quick rounds of usability tests. Be an evangelist for design as a function. Help drive and develop culture, practices and processes.

Skills

• Preferably a strong formal education background in HCI or design related field, with an emphasis on human centered design, user experience or interaction design.
• Ability to grasp the essence of complex design problems and translate them to practical design solutions.
• Ability to lead other designers with clarity and focus, and catalyse growth in the team.
• Ability to proficiently facilitate brainstorming sessions, cultivate the creative thinking process, create compelling presentation decks or videos, and present articulate concept pitches.
• Ability to accept and design against feedback from colleagues in a rapid iterative design process, and effectively produce highly polished and professional work under agreed timelines.
• Proficiency in fundamental visual & interaction design principles.
• Strong understanding of Adobe Xd and/or other prototyping tools. Grasp of Photoshop, Illustrator, etc could help too.
• Ability to comfortably work in hybrid release cycles, which may include waterfall and loosely defined agile and lean design.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate a problem space.
• Strong written & verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate goals, problems, opportunities and solutions.

Architect web application from ground up. Design and develop React UI components Own and deliver tested and optimized high-performance code for public facing, enterprise web portals Participate in resolution of production issues and develop solutions to prevent future issues from happening again Work with UX, Product Management and Service Reliability teams in an agile environment Review designs with scenario diligence

Skills

• Problem solver and an excellent coder with deep understanding of JS ecosystem, interactive web application development, and performance optimization
• Passionate about quality of work, you are persistent and uncompromising
• Someone who has a keen eye for pixel perfection
• Experienced in delivering sophisticated UI solutions, you have worked on enterprise web portal and have helped operationalize it
• Required: React, Redux, CSS/Sass, HTML 5, Javascript
• Good to have: Experience with Node.js, Expres, AWS/Azure, Docker, Jenkins, Splunk
• Mobile web development experience is a plus
