Job Description

Act as a storyteller and translate complex analytical work into a set of easily digestible information and recommendations for business users; Partner with data scientists, data engineers and strategy teams to interpret, understand and use available data; Develop data collection strategies to support business objectives; Create reports and dashboards of the key metrics; and Create, polish and deliver presentations of the data stories.

Skills

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a design-related field, preferably in user interface design and graphic/visual communication design
• 5+ years of experience in product, software and responsive-website design; knowledge of HTML and CSS is desirable
• Experience in creating design documents and in communicating with developers, managers and other project stakeholders
• An enviable portfolio and knowledge in storytelling
• Familiarity with online prototypes and sharing tools
• Exposure to Agile methods and experience working in design sprints
• Advanced and specialized understanding of one or more design domains such as information design, user-centered design, information architecture, rich media design and market/usability research

Great portfolio showing your interaction design skills applied to the design of Fortune 100 consumer and enterprise mobile products or services You can lead the process of user-centered design for interaction design at any point in the product development process Expert in design - you can create, present and document detailed interaction and functional specifications. You can translate a concept into detailed design specifications that can be used by product and development teams to understand and build a working product You can articulate the implications of design on a product and are accountable for thinking through complex interaction design challenges based on input from research and data gathered from yourself and other teams You are accountable for the accuracy of your work and ensure itssuccessful and accurate adoption You can build strong relationships within and across different parts of the company and demonstrate an ability to effectively work cross functionally with senior management and company leaders to effectively propagate your ideas and direction You have been lead designer for significant mobile products in one or more vertical markets such as consumer, enterprise, B2B Excellent in verbal, written and design communication skills Collaborate and work well within a cross-functional team environment and have previous project management experience with strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

Skills

• College graduate - preferably a degree, masters or PhD in Computer Science, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Industrial Design, HCI, or Computer Related Design.
• Advanced applied knowledge of user centered design principles and have a strong understanding of brand identity and know how to build systems to support brand values
• You have mastery of design tools such as Adobe Create Suite and Omnigraffle.
• Experience 8+ years
