Job Description

• Working closely with the business unit, you will be responsible for the experience design for innovative software solutions (desktop and mobile) in the field of medical technology, in particular to support radiology workflows
• You will support all phases of the human-centered design process, from developing a strategy and vision through to final product development
• You will represent the needs of users to various stakeholders in their respective project teams and beyond
• You will identify the needs of different user groups in user research and translate them into user journey maps and product requirements
• You will develop operating concepts for a variety of medical products and visualize your concepts using low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes (e.g. with Adobe XD or Axure), which you will refine with users and internal stakeholder.
• You will be a strong advocate of great product design by ensuring solutions set high visual and interaction design quality standards in alignment with our common design language.
• You will mentor and lead junior designers by promoting sound design practices, educating and elevating the role of good design and its importance in the product development process across the organization.

Skills

• A portfolio demonstrating successful design of products, features, experiences with a strong expertise in applying Interaction design patterns and visual design principles/methods.
• Sound knowledge of usability engineering.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills to communicate design thinking, and lead groups through idea generation, and decision-making processes
• Familiarity with user research practices and ability to translate insights into actionable requirements
• Experience with creating and documenting user flows, task analysis, information architecture and developing user scenario
• Experience at working directly with software developers
• Experience with UX in agile projects
